Background Information
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires 4-6 years of additional hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Dr. German and Dr. Niel practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to oral pathology. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort.
Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at Howard County Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery are experienced, well-trained oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants and have current radiology certifications. Our administrative staff are informed personnel, well versed in health and insurance policies. All of our staff members are CPR certified.
